We had just left a restaurant that provided poor service, so we decided to go elsewhere. My friend wanted to grab something to take away and head home, so I remembered this place was open. Ella went through the drive-thru and ordered the Lunar Special for me, which is a soup. My friend and I both found that the food was excellent--an unusual experience for a drive-through. The young woman at the window was friendly and very helpful. I had a bad experience here in the past, so I hadn't visited in a while, but it's definitely back on my list of places to fly to!

I was at the West Gray gym for my morning routine, and I usually order delivery for lunch and share the food with people who are less fortunate than me there. Luckily, Saigon has the option to cut the sandwich in half which makes it easier for me to share the food to more people. You really get your money worth because the banh mi is big and stuff with a lot of meat too. The flavor is really authentic and no Westernized compromise.

I have to write an update after trying some of their other dishes. The appetizers (spring rolls and egg rolls) are very well made. They've improved a lot since I went at their initial opening, though still not my favorite banh mi (I prefer mine crispier and loaded with more meat). Definitely still paying for the area, but they do traditional Vietnamese appetizers far better than some other places in the Heights.

Oh, I absolutely adore their Tao tea! Whenever I'm yearning for some Vietnamese cuisine, it's fantastic that they offer a drive-through service, making everything so convenient. And let's not forget about their scrumptious spring rolls - simply irresistible!

When I ordered from here, I never expected to see a drive thru, but there it was. I was just looking for a late night Viet restaurant to get food for my kids. It was very convenient to pre-order and then we just showed up through the drive thru and picked it up from there. We order the vermicelli with pork and egg rolls. I thought it was fine. The fish sauce was a little different than I was used to, but for a late night meal, it was fine. The place is pretty small from what I could see at that time at night so I'm assuming most of their food is to-go, but there were some chairs inside.
